In May, June and July 2006 Cheryl and David Craig house sat and cared for our cat Lucky, while we travelled around Australia. They applied for the job through a house sitting organisation on the internet and we chose them because of their professional approach to the job and also because of their friendly and competent manner when we spoke on the phone. During our time away Cheryl posted our mail to a number of destinations and kept us informed of things at home when we rang and gave us a great deal of peace of mind. When we returned from our trip we were greeted with and immaculately clean house with everything in working order and a very contented cat. Although a little apprehensive for obvious reasons, we need not have had any concerns. On return, the home was left in the same condition as we had left it, clean and tidy and the animals happy and healthy. Cheryl and David Craig are an easy going couple, with a natural ability towards animals and their kindness and love for our cat and dog shone through. Nothing was a drama for them. They were punctual as agreed, cleaned up my house better than I do, respected my telephone, and possessions and have been asked back for 2 weeks in November. On our return from our trip around Australia, we were welcomed by our neatly maintained home, with lawns and gardens looking wonderful. They cared for our small dog Barny, whilst we travelled and he was right at home with them. They were staying in our Granny Flat that is attached to our home.
